TomTom Go Navigation is a small package that has everything you need for automobile navigation. It's designed to be a ready-to-go product with software, maps, and a car mount that works (well, almost) straight out of the box. Let's see what it can do.

After an easy car installation, it's time to tell us where to take you. There are three main ways to start navigating. You can enter an address, access the map and pinpoint a location on the touch screen, or choose from thousands of Points of Interest (POIs). Some of the POI categories are: food and drink, shops, parks, airports, and accommodation.
Other navigation options allow you to go home, go to a recent destination, or go to "Favorites." The place you visit again and again can be saved as a favourite.
For example, a loud and clear voice instruction would say, "Turn left in 200 yards." This will again announce the maneuver closer to the turning point. At all times, TomTom Go Navigation system is displaying a map of your progress. It has your choice of 3D or 2D view with different displays for day and night use.
TomTom has built in a lot of customization. There are several voice options in different languages and you can program the unit to provide additional voice prompts such as distance after departure or timing of directions. You can make it left-hand friendly or change the colors of the map. You can also flip the display 180 degrees if you need to mount it upside-down.
